A Place to Create, Connect, and Belong

If you’re reading this, I’m really glad you’re here.

For many years, paper crafting has been part of my life—not just as a creative outlet, but as a way to connect with people and build meaningful community. I’m Heather, an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Glendale, Arizona, and I’ve been stamping and paper crafting for over 20 years. Over time, I’ve learned something important: creativity is powerful, but creativity shared is even more so.

At the heart of my business is a simple mission—to reduce loneliness by bringing women together through card making and paper crafting. I believe that sitting down with paper, ink, and a few supplies can open the door to conversation, encouragement, and connection in ways we don’t always expect. You don’t need to be artistic or experienced to belong. You just need a place that feels welcoming.

Here in my local community, I teach card making classes in my home studio, where women gather to create handmade cards, learn simple techniques, and enjoy time together without pressure or comparison. These classes aren’t about perfection—they’re about confidence, community, and the joy of making something with your hands.

That same heart extends beyond my table and into my online spaces. Inside my Facebook group, Simply Creative Paper Crafts, I’ve created a gentle, encouraging place where paper crafters can connect, share ideas, ask questions, and feel supported—whether they’re brand new or have been crafting for years. It’s a space rooted in kindness, creativity, and community.

I’m also growing my YouTube channel, Hearts and Heather Creations, where I share card making videos, paper crafting inspiration, and beginner-friendly tutorials. This allows us to create together no matter where you live, and it gives you a way to learn and be inspired at your own pace.

This blog is another extension of that same vision. It’s a place where I’ll share encouragement, creative ideas, and reflections on building confidence through creativity. If you’ve ever thought, “I’m not creative,” or felt like you’ve been doing things on your own for too long, I hope you’ll find this space feels like a friendly place to land.

Thank you for being here at the beginning of this new chapter. Whether you’re crafting with me in Glendale, Arizona, connecting online, or simply reading along quietly, you’re welcome here—and you don’t have to create alone.
